F.L.E.A.S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if you hadn't guessed from the subject line we got fleas! Yeah I know awful which also meant we had to give our house and everything we own a flea bath!! It was funny but not entirely all that much fun.  We did it on Friday. We had to load everything into garbage bags cover all of our food and load all our clothes, bedspreads, pillows, towels, etc. into the car to take them to all get cleaned. I believe it was around 36 to 38 loads of laundry that needed to be done.  So most of that set up was done at a laundromat and then the other two or three loads could be done at home! While we were at the laundromat our house was enduring flea bomb! Noted Sister Cawley got to be the one to pull the trigger as everyone watched and video taped but we all got out of there alive!! So now the fleas are dead as well as any "pet" insect we may have been keeping in our house and the crazy thing is we need to redo the ritual again this Friday as a "safety" pro-caution.  Whatever we are not getting bitten any more which is a good sign.  We also the other day got the opportunity to hear from Elder Bednar and some of the 70! It was a cool experience as he made it into a discussion and not a lecture.  It was different having an apostle talk with us instead of at us.  He was asking us questions and he even asked me like just me a question!!!! It was so cool.  The spirit was so strong! I am sure everyone agreed.  It was an interesting group as all of the missionaries from the Washington Everett Mission were in attendance and that was a lot of missionaries! The one thing that I think stuck out the most was "Let Go...Let God!" He will do anything for us.  We need to stop trying to take control of every situation and trust that God has a plan for it.  It gave me power and motivation! Yesterday night we felt the power of God as we were moving towards a members house and we stopped two people walking.  We started talking to them and found out they were pretty much dry Mormons! They were so nice and open and they loved talking with us.  They were engaged to be married and we showed them a picture of the temple and told them that this is where we get married for time and all eternity! They said they agreed. The spirit was so strong during that contact and they were so open.  I was amazed and grateful.  It was definitely a miracle. The work is moving along at a great pace and pretty soon we will start a two week Christmas course where on Thursday we will invite people from the ward and others to learn about Christmas what it means to us just by studying the Bible with added Book of Mormon scriptures in there.  It will be a great way for members to share the Holiday spirit with their friends.  Some people are already excited to start!
